A sex toy is basically a device or an object, designed to be used by consenting adults as an aid in the pursuit of sexual pleasure. Sex toys are sometimes labelled as marital aids, but this can be somewhat misleading because marital aids will also include the likes of main stream prescription drugs such as Viagra, and herbal remedies including creams etc. Both are marketed as aids to assist the ability to have sex or, indeed, to prolong the activity of sex.
